Trees of Valencia

Trees are one of my two favorite plant genres. The other is grasses. Oddly, though, I only feel compelled to photograph flowers.

But the trees in Valencia are pretty interesting so I am sharing them in a post.

This may not even technically be a tree.

I was so mesmerized by the trunk of this tree that I forgot to take a picture of the top of it.

The following two pictures are from the underside of this tree.

I looked it up. It's 'Giant Yucca', Yucca gigantea, which can be considered a tree.
